Mr. Ashutosh Upadhyay conducted an engaging and informative science workshop for Grade V students, focusing on the Earth and its continents. He introduced key concepts through captivating stories, making learning both enjoyable and interactive.
The session emphasized the differences between 2D and 3D models, helping students grasp spatial relationships and dimensional understanding. As a hands-on activity, students crafted hanging globes using paper, glue, beads and thread—an exercise that enhanced their fine motor skills, creativity, and collaborative abilities.
Through this workshop, students developed a better understanding of the Earth’s structure and its continents. They also learned to distinguish between two-dimensional and three-dimensional representations.
The workshop was engaging and informative. Mr. Upadhyay’s approach made complex concepts accessible to our students.
